What Bytelife is

Bytelife is a lightweight news aggregator covering Business, Technology, AI, Gaming and Sciences. It pulls headlines from a curated list of outlets, groups the articles covering the same event into a single story, and writes a short, neutral summary of what those outlets agree on.

Bytelife never republishes article text. Every story shows a neutral headline, a short AI-written summary, and a list of links back to the original reporting — each one opens the outlet’s own site in a new tab. Where a story mentions a public company, we show that company’s current stock price and a same-day price chart.

How it works

A pipeline checks each outlet’s feed every 20 minutes. New articles covering the same event are grouped together automatically; once at least two independent outlets have reported a story, an AI model writes a short, factual summary from the outlets’ own headlines and snippets — never from the full article text, which we don’t fetch or store. A story is only published once it has that independent second source.

Privacy

No accounts, no sign-in. The only thing Bytelife itself stores locally is your light or dark theme preference. Clicking through to an article records the fact that a click happened, with no IP address, user agent, or cookie attached — used only to rank “most read” stories for the day.

Where an ad slot on this site is filled, it’s served by a third-party advertising network, which may set its own cookies to personalise ads and measure performance. You can control this through your browser’s cookie settings, or industry opt-out tools such as youronlinechoices.eu.
